Zimeng Wang

Zimeng is an Associate Principal Scientist in Advanced Drug Delivery, Pharmaceutical Sciences at AstraZeneca. His work centers on lipid nanoparticle (LNP) formulation studies to support various therapeutic applications, with a specific focus on developing and optimizing LNP formulations to enhance their efficacy, safety, and stability. Before joining AstraZeneca, Zimeng led formulation development for long-acting injectables and targeted delivery polymeric nanoparticles at Phosphorex Inc. He holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Rhode Island. As a detail-oriented formulation scientist with nine years of industry experience, Zimeng has authored ten peer-reviewed research papers and two book chapters and holds four patents.
